Pokémon GO Raids Schedule For December 2023
Niantic has announced new five-star Raids, which will coincide with various events taking place for the month. There may be an opportunity that Trainers may encounter their Shiny forms if Niantic has specified which can be encountered through these Raids unless specified by the developer.
This month, Trainers will be encountering more spooky Pokémon as Dark, Dragon, and Ghost-type Pokémon will be featured as Raid bosses for this season. Let’s look at all the featured Pokémon you can encounter in five-star Raids for December 2023 in Pokémon GO:
Legendary & 5-Star Raids
- Reshiram: 1 December to 9 December from 10 am local time
- Zekrom: 9 December to 16 December from 10 am local time
- Kyurem: 16 December to 23 December from 10 am local time
- Regigigas: 23 December to 1 January 2024 from 10 am local time
According to Pokémon GO's December 2023 Content Update, most of the five-star Raid Bosses will also receive dedicated Raid Hour events this month. These Raid Hour events will occur for an hour every Tuesday with various Raid bonuses to be active for the event’s duration and possibly sometime after that.

Raid Hours in December 2023
- Reshiram: 6 December 2023 between 6 pm and 7 pm
- Zekrom: 13 December 2023 between 6 pm and 7 pm
- Kyurem: 20 December 2023 between 6 pm and 7 pm
- Regigigas: 27 December 2023 between 6 pm and 7 pm
Pokémon GO Mega Raids in December 2023
In addition to the five-star Raids for the month, several Pokémon are arriving to Pokémon GO in Mega Raids. These raid encounters are much different from the five-star Raids as they will pit you and your Pokémon line-up against a Mega-evolved Pokémon, and defeating it rewards you with Mega Energy. This Mega Energy can be specific for a Pokémon or its evolution line as it can temporarily grant them Mega Evolution status.

- Mega Scizor: 1 December to 9 December from 10 am local time
- Mega Altaria: 9 December to 16 December from 10 am local time
- Mega Abomasnow: 16 December to 23 December from 10 am local time
