Even as holiday events continue to drop in WWE 2K23, fans are keeping their eyes on any developments about next year's WWE 2K24 release. Before any official announcements could arrive, a new WWE 2K24 leak has confirmed a few key details.
We've now got an idea of the ratings the game will get this time around, but more importantly platforms have been revealed. We'll break down all the news from this WWE 2K24 leak and when more reveals could be coming.
WWE 2K24 leak confirms platforms and international ratings
The latest WWE 2K24 leak comes from reporter Andrew Marmo, and it appears the official rating process in Brazil has given us details on which platforms the game will hit. While it's likely that Xbox One and PS4 releases of new titles will eventually come to an end, that won't be happening just yet.
According to the details, which come from the Brazilian government's website due to the official approval process for rating the game, WWE 2K24 will be on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC when it is released next year. As for the rating, WWE 2K24 will be 12+ in Brazil due to "sexual content, legal drugs, and violence." Considering the game has been rated T for Teen in the US and 16+ with PEGI, this likely just signals the same type of content we've seen in recent years.
While the leak does signify an upcoming announcement to some, that reveal is likely still weeks away. Since shifting the release schedule with WWE 2K22, the series has settled on revealing the cover star and release date around the time of the Royal Rumble in late January.
As such, we expect the next WWE 2K24 reveals to arrive late in January 2024, and they'll continue to pick up in the weeks following that. Other reveals like the full WWE 2K24 roster should land in February 2024, and CM Punk could be next up to return to the franchise.
