Table of Contents
Leatherface is Texas Chain Saw Massacre's most famous Slaughter family member, and he's one of the most powerful killers in Gun Media's video game adaptation of the franchise. Much like in Dead by Daylight, he can use his chainsaw to take down survivors. While Leatherface's ability is powerful on its own, you'll need to make use of perks and attributes in the character's skill tree to make the most of his powers.
Here's a look at all of Leatherface's best builds in Texas Chain Saw Massacre, and what perks to choose from his skill tree, so you can take down Victims effectively as this iconic killer.
Best Leatherface Build In Texas Chain Saw Massacre
Like every character in Texas Chain Saw Massacre, Leatherface has a series of strengths and weaknesses owing to his ability. Also, like other characters, perks can make up for many of those weaknesses or make his strengths even more powerful.
Best Perks For Leatherface
- Best: Big Swings
Big Swings is Leatherface's best perk since it increases his damage stat. Leatherface is excellent at taking down Victims using his chainsaw, and damage is the name of the game for him. Using Big Swings will enhance that even more, allowing him to deal massive damage to Victims with every hit.
- Strong: Brute Strength, Master Key
You might think that Master Key is weak on a killer like Leatherface since he can already break down padlocked doors and other barriers, but it's a lot faster with Master Key. This allows you to spend more time taking down survivors and less time destroying barricades.
Brute Strength is a Grandpa ability that increases melee damage for all Family members; while it won't activate until Grandpa has enough blood, it'll provide a huge boost for you. Not only that, but it'll benefit other Family members like The Cook, who can really use the extra boost to the damage they inflict.
Best Attributes For Leatherface
- Savagery, Harvesting, Endurance
Leatherface is powerful in the Savagery and Endurance departments from the start, so it's useful to max out those stats as much as possible. With high Savagery and Endurance, Leatherface can easily rip through Victims. Using his chainsaw's stealth by turning it off, he can not only take down survivors with ease but can also approach them sneakily.
He's not a great Harvester, so there's not much point in completing maxing out this stat, but it's worth dedicating a few skill points in this area so you can really make use of Vial-ent and other perks that require you to have blood on hand.
Leatherface Skill Tree
Leatherface's chainsaw, while powerful, can also be his downfall when he needs to put it down to recharge. Use the perks in Leatherface's skill tree to allow him to use his chainsaw more often, and start it instantly when need be.
- Level One: Stalling Resistance
- The chainsaw can be used 10% more often before stalling.
- Level Two: Stalling Resistance
- The chainsaw can be used 20% more often before stalling.
- Level Three: Instant Activation
- Starts the chainsaw instantly.
Those are the best perks and attributes for Leatherface in Texas Chain Saw Massacre, so you can create the ideal build while playing this character.
